Day 206 – Mon 27 Mar – Claire had a day off today and so it was nice to have a calmer Monday morning. I began work on the second half of Isaiah 57 and had a Pastoral visit in the morning. Claire and I went out for lunch at the Clocktower Cafe which was really nice and then I was back in the books on Romans 13 in the afternoon. I had to do some work for the Liss Pastoral Search Committee but hopefully that won’t take up too much time this week. In the evening I did a couple of Pastoral visits which were brief and encouraging.
Matthew Roberts has written an excellent article here on ‘Are Christians homophobic? of course we are, of course we’re not’ and his pastoral assistant at Trinity Church York – Peter Leach has written a lovely piece on ‘The Baptism theme tune’.
