Day 224 – Fri 14 April – We all traipsed down to Immanuel Brentford for our Good Friday service, 15 folk came over from All Nations, Ilford aswell and all in all we were about 150. There was standing room only at St Paul’s School. The acoustics are pretty diabolical there so I didn’t really hear a thing of what was going on. Simon Arscott preached on the Cry of Dereliction and the little bit I did pick up was very good. We sang a couple of tunes that no one knew but it was a real encouragement to be together.
As a family we went back to the Ilderton’s for lunch and had a lovely afternoon at their place and by the river in Brentford. We were back for tea at ours and then I finished off Matthew 28 for Sunday and spoke to a friend in the US for an hour.
