Day 327 – Wed 26 July – We had swimming to start the day but apart from that we did very little. I finished off Iain Murray’s ‘Seven Leaders” with John Macarthur being the final subject and then started James Smith’s ‘You are what you love’ which I’ve wanted to read for a while. The kids are in good form, pottering round the place.
David Robertson has replied with customary vigour to my piece on Dedication here. The title of my blog ‘Dedication’s what you need if you want to be a Covenant Breaker’ was taken from Record Breakers TV programme as David has surmised in his article. I wasn’t accusing David and St Peter’s of Covenant Breaking, I’m sorry that I wasn’t clearer on that and have written to David apologising for it. The problem with jokes is when you have to explain them they slightly lose their joy.
